I tried to install WiunUSB driver, it seemed successful, but wouldn't connect to scope.
Effort to reinstall sunk me even deeper: the driver installer times out with unhelpful comments blaming Microsoft.
At this point, though, I cannot uninstall XScope - the driver uninstaller hangs with "Confirm Device Uninstall" dialog showing moving a blue bar but otherwise doing nothing, and not abortable - I have to kill it with Task Manager.
Now my device manager stalls ?when looking for hardware updates, so I'm worse off than when I started.
Sorry, we can't blame Microsoft for this - I've installed plenty of other USB device drivers in my time.
How do I fix this train wreck, and preferably get a driver installed so I can run the GUI ? How do I clean your gunk out of my registry?
Using Win 7 Professional, 64bit, bucket loads of memory and hard drive space.
?

Additional info:/\r\n/In regedit I am unable to delete the USB object VID_16D0&PID_06F9\6&2c732fc2&0&4 - attempting to access the "Properties" key fails with an error "Properties cannot be opened. An error is preventing this key from being opened.
