Just received my Xprotolab, powers up ok!
However, I am having problems navigating the menus.  When I press the menu button, the menu doesnt always display.  When it does and I press the menu button again, the menu goes off.  I have found that I have to press it very quickly to get all the menus to display.
Two questions, will upgrading to the new firmware fix this and how do I identify what hardware I have (1.3 or 1.4)?

If you are in the 10mS/div sampling rate, the scope is "busy" until it acquires all the data, this time is about 80mS./\r\n/In this particular sampling rate, you need to press the MENU button for a little longer for the device to recognize it.
The hardware revision is marked on the back of the board.

I've established the hardware is 1.4 and the firmware is 1.05. 
I have posted a video here

as I think it shows better whats happening.
In the video I was trying to move the trace for CH1, but as you can see, with little success as the menus would keep disappearing.

This looks like a deffective unit. Please send back for replacement.

I just got mine in and noticed the same problem when hooked up through usb, hardware v1.4, firmware v1.07.
However, if I power it through USB and the computer is off the buttons work as they should. I'm guessing the continuous activity from the computer over usb is messing with something. (uart timeout?)
