xProtolab as a datascope

I love the capability that xProtolab has of monitoring both sides of a serial port.? I have been trying to watch the dialog between my ATMega32 and an XBee modem via the PC application.
Couple of issues:
1. Is there a way to clear the display of the serial data?? At times I want to capture a single packet sequence, but the data gets really muddied up fast.
2. Any way to pass the data off to another program for analysis?? Maybe saving it to a file or logging it as it's received?

Yes, just before entering the Sniffer, select the SINGLE mode (see section 3.8 of the manual).

No logging of data yet. You can use the PC application to observe the same data on the computer as on the device's display.
