I've a Xprotolab sw version 1,50 (splash screen). The circuit runs perfectly and is able to display signals and using men? functions. The problem is that it is unable to connect via USB to windows XP, Seven, Ubuntu or SUse linux. I tried to use also different solutions like Zadig and also more powerful ones but the real problem is that once physically connected the device is disconnected from PC, so mo one of the suggested tools is able to match manually a driver to the device. The behaviour is practically the same on every operating system. Referring to windows I receive Unknown device warning then all disappear and, to say, Zadig is unable to list Xprotolab as connected device.
Has anyine a solution? I'd like to use Xproto as logic analyzer and this is impossible (I mean for too little screen) without a pc connected.
Any suggestion? I'm also ready to install a new operating system on a dedicated hw platform but I'd like to be sure about results after three days of tests.

What hardware version do you have?/\r\n/If your hardware version is 1.7 or above, then you need to upgrade the firmware on your device. The procedure is in the manual./\r\n/If your hardware is below 1.7, then it does not have a USB module integrated.

Dear Gabriel, first of all ?thx for your answer. About hardware: 1.7.
Ok, it has to be upgraded and having no programmer I'd like to use bootloader procedure. Will it succed considering that the device is unable to connect to PC USB port?
Thx in advance for your attention

You have one of the early units, but I remember that I included the USB boorloader. Follow the procedure in section 9.2, let me know if it works.
