I buy a Xminilab (version 2.2 print on the back).
Today I try to connect on XScopes PC Interface through a cp2102 (not from gabotronics I live in Europe and cannot be shipped) module but it's not work.
Command from serial client works (Putty).
When search why it can does not work, it could be come from old firmware version.
Soo, I try a firmware upgrade using the bootloader.
But I think I broke it
Screen is very strange, like a bad screen point adressing (from a bad resolution).
And serial communication does not work.
Help !

How are you programming the device?

If using the bootloader (recommended method), follow this procedure step by step:

If using an external programmer, follow this procedure step by step:

www.gabotronics.com/product-manuals/firmware-updating.htm

Make sure you are downloading the firmware for the Xminilab, and not the Xprotolab.

After updating, you will not need the UART to USB cable, you can use a regular cable to connect to the PC.

Soo I use the bootloader & strictely follow the procedure.
When it's done, Xminilab work perfectly.
But, when I unplug and replug. The screen is "dirty". I found one way to fix this :
Restart procedure from eeprom programation.
But, it's realy boring to need reprogram eeprom each time.

Same error with firmware 1.87 

After watching the video, it seems to happen only when unplugging and plugging again quickly. Does it also happen if you unplug, wait 5-10 seconds, and then plug again?

Today I have updated the V2.1 Xminilab to software V2.0. I have the same sroblem. First startup works great. But if I turn power off and on again (also with waiting same time) the display shows many pixels and is unreadable. What can be the problem? I have the device programmed with the bootloader.
