Hi,/\r\n//\r\n/After a few years of very low usage, chance directed me to your website and had me decide to update my current 2.22 firmware. I read the website, the manual and the forum, but I am not able to update or figure out how to. I am on W10Pro 64b./\r\n//\r\n/What I did:/\r\n//\r\n/-install drivers (WinUSB (v6.1.7600.16385)) via Zadig (v2.2)/\r\n//\r\n/-device XScope shows up working in Device Manager of Windows/\r\n//\r\n/-install Atmel FLIP (v3.4.7.112)/\r\n//\r\n/-start FLIP/\r\n//\r\n/-connect via USB/\r\n//\r\n/-hold K1 while powering up with K4(menu), only red LED goes on, screen of Xmini is off(?!?!) and an Unkown Device pops up in Device Manager of Windows/\r\n//\r\n/-in FLIP, choose device: ATXMEGA32A4U, communication medium: USB, click Open/\r\n//\r\n/-FLIP says: com.atmel.flip.IspException Could not open USB device./\r\n//\r\n/-after a while the red LED on Xmini goes out and Unkown Device in Device Manager of Windows disappears/\r\n//\r\n/What am I doing wrong? Please help?

After placing the device on bootloader mode, did you install the USB drivers from the FLIP folder?

Thanks for your response!
Since I installed drivers via Zadig, I thought I was good to go, but after installing the drivers from FLIP (for the Unkown Device in Windows' Device Manager when in bootloader mode), everything is alright and I was able to update. The Xmini is now running firmware 2.40.
Thanks!
