I am using a new batch of displays and I have discovered a bug.

If you power down the device and try to power up again, the display may not work (blank or random pixels).

To be able to use the device again, power off the device (press the MENU button for 2 seconds), then wait at least 30 seconds before powering on again.

I think it is a hardware bug, but I'll see if it can be fixed in firmware.

I have fixed the bug. I wasn't following the proper power-down sequence as specified on the manual. I'll upload the new firmware soon.

Hi! I downloaded and programmed the current version today but I still have the display bug. Your workaround is also not working. So currently I still have a Xminilab Portable wich is not really portable.

Hi Remo, does your display work if you wait for one minute after power down?

Hi! I tried this, but it dint help. To clarify: I downloaded the current repository as zip and directly programmed the binaries in XScopes-Firmware-master\xminilab-p\Debug without compiling it first. The QT-Software shows version 2.26 and I think to remember it was 2.27 before. Or am I wrong? I will try a recompile later.

Hi remo. The latest firmware is 2.28, download it from here.

I have also updated the GitHub repository just now.

If you have the display power on bug, I assume you have hardware rev 1.11, which has the green display with the SSD1309 controller.

I have just found out that I introduced a battery drain bug when I was working on the display bug. I have fixed it in rev 2.37.
