If the Scope is supposed to run off of 5v, how do they get it to run using 3-AA batteries??? Is there a +/- 5v variance???
Just would like an answer in kinda plain english how it works this way.

The Xprotolab can still work ok at 4.5V, however, if the voltage is lowered further, it will decrease dynamic range on the analog inputs.The Xprotolab can still operate at around 3.5V, but lowering it further will dim the display.
